Nakleh: Wasyl Ultra Light – short review

For your viewing pleasure, here are some photos I just took of the Wasyl Ultra Light ETT adapter.

I was going to give it an extensive review- but there isn’t much to say, other than it’s pretty much perfect. If there was an “official” ETT adapter from Meta/FB/Oculus, this would be it. Beautiful print, ULTRA light (102g vs about 185 for Sanlaki / Roykaka), and perfect tracking.

It’s really solid- I love that there is no need to remove the adapter from the controller to change batteries (it charges via USB-C, and the battery lasts 20hrs on a charge). Haptic motor is in the handle, so vibrations are much more prominent compared to any other adapter.

I’m going to add grip tape to the handle and rubbers on both sides (he kindly included a 3d printed template to use for cutting the rubbers) which will bring it to about 114g. If someone wanted it to be heavier, they could add lead tape or other weights to the back easily.

I can’t say enough good things about it. My only complaint is I wish everyone could have one. THANK YOU @wasyl00 – you are a mad genius, and this is a piece of art that belongs in a museum. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us in the future (ETT or otherwise).

Some photos of my new Wasyl adapter for your viewing pleasure.

165g. The print is BEAUTIFUL. It feels like sanded wood- so smooth, and very nice to the touch. Easily the best 3d print I have ever seen, it’s perfect. Last photo is the Ultralight on the left (which is 103g).
